When the company was conceived quarter of a century ago, TDT started by supplying machine tool manufacturers with turrets and ancillary equipment. TDT now caters for the diverse needs of industry with CNC machining centres, turning and boring centres, multi-axis turning and milling machines, heavy duty and high speed technology from renowned brands such as Lagun, Kafo, You Ji, Tos Varnsdorf and Feeler.
Whilst offering this vast array of new technology, TDT retains its roots, still offering the very latest advances in rotary tables and tooling turrets (Duplomatic), drill and end mill sharpening (GSC), process monitoring (Brankamp, Artis), VDI Driven tooling (Algra) and precision surface grinding (Proth). In 2018 TDT changed its name to TDT Machine Tools Limited to reflect the success the company has enjoyed over the last 3 years with the Kafo brand and other new partnerships that will further establish TDT as a machine tool supplier.
As part of TDT’s rapid growth, Tim Stell, a machine tool veteran has recently joined the company to service customers in the north of the UK whilst Phil Terry with 32 years industry expertise has joined the company as Sales Director, along with Managing Director Simon Hewson, the trio has over 100 years of experience in the machine tool industry to draw upon.
TDT has also built a strong support network including a service team capable of full mechanical alignments and rebuild of almost any milling/turning machine tool. TDT have invested heavily and with the addition of Renishaw laser measurement equipment, our service team can calibrate almost any machine tool to bring it back into tolerance (mechanical integrity dependant)
